Contrary to the description, THIS GAME DOES HAVE ADS and lots of them. I could see watching ads for in-game purchases, but this "ad free" game makes me watch an ad between each puzzle, or I can't continue playing. That's not my idea of an ad free game. It's a good game. I enjoy it. I took away 2 stars just because this game isn't ad free as was claimed. Edit: Thanks for making it clear in your reply that we must watch ads to play your ad free game. Dropping to 1 star.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this game, BUT ... the claim that there are no annoying ads is what enticed me to download it and that is false advertising. I know ad revenue allows them to offer the game free and I appreciate that. I don't mind "paying" for a needed game tool (in this case a shuffle) by watching a short ad. I wouldn't mind watching an ad every 5th game. But being forced to watch ads between each game wastes far too much time for a fast player. It has become more ad than game!

A very easy game to pick up and put down, easy to understand. If you are worried about being bombarded with Ads, you don't have to worry. they only play in between a completion of a level, or if you need to restart a failed level. I avoid it all together by closing the app and opening it again. I am bit upset that after I watched an optional add to get more shuffles I never got the extra. Not a deal breaker, just something to be on the look out for.

It was a great game until the ads became ridiculously frequent and long, 30 seconds to a minute, back to back, at the start of every game, during and after. If you're a fast puzzle solver, you'll spend twice as long watching ads than playing the game. The ad free version options are expensive. Personally, I'm dumping this game, it's gone from relaxing fun to a frustrating waste of time.

Rebecca Jones

I really like this game and find it challenging, but there are too many ads for other games that won't close. I understand ads are necessary and I don't mind having to watch an ad or two to keep the app free, but every single ad for another game has no option to close once it's done. I have to close the entire app and reopen. Sometimes that doesn't work and it will reopen back to the ad. I'll be looking for an alternative app.

See Shell Create

It said no annoying ads when I downloaded, then I hit level 30, bam... ads before every level. I want to play, not spend 30 seconds watching an ad, then close it, only to have to watch a teaser screen for the advertised game, close it and spend another 10 seconds waiting for the final close. Ridiculous. I thoroughly enjoyed it until then. Disappointing.

I had initially given 5 stars. It was a crisp game with no ads. I thought someone is making enough money on other things they put something simple and fun out there for people who are stuck (think injured) with nothing to do. Then, after several levels, the ads started. But you are supposed to be able to pay to remove them. Psych! Click that, and it always says, "Subscription unsuccessful." If they fix the ability to remove ads, I'll give back the other 2 stars.

I don't need a creepy voice, nor do I want a game auto complete. there are ads for a "pro" version that I have yet to be able to locate (I would have liked to play what they are advertising) Gameplay is reasonably good otherwise. The app is stable and there are a variety of ways to play update 9/14/25 I uninstalled and reinstalled. I still don't have a store or an option to play a giant column of tiles.

Great Game, Ads are too hard to get out of. This game would be a favorite if it weren't for the ads. They don't always run correctly and then you're stuck having to try and figure out how to close out of the ad screen. It usually forces you to the Google Play store before you can get past them and several other clicks. It wouldn't be as annoying if you just had to watch a short video run the whole way through, but trying to get back to the game takes all the fun out of it.Will probably uninstall

Far too many ads! It's annoying and makes the game very unenjoyable. Skip it and find another Majong that doesn't have a 30 second ad or two after every single round. Update: I was hoping it would get better, but it hasn't and the developer doesn't seem to want to make it better. As there are hundreds of more Mahjong games out there with a fraction of the ads, I am deleting it and going elsewhere. Today, I played for 20 minutes during a break. Actual game time- 9 minutes, the rest was ads. Bye.

Dev: when game can't launch, in-app support isn't available. Reinstalled but lost my history as expected. Not replaying hundreds of games to reach 17 first place levels, dailies, & journeys. Game uninstalled. Big glitch Today! Have been enjoying Vita Mahjong very much. Ads aren't intrusive -- but they are LONG multi-screens between rounds. Today the game fails to launch. Can't play if it doesn't launch. And yes, I have restarted. I'll go back to 5 stars if I get the game up and running, 😉

The ads are becoming worse and they know it. Ads that have fake close "X" symbols that take you to websites or the play store. Very scammy ad company they are using. __original review below__ My 1 star rating is for the simple fact that they need to find a new ad server. I'm getting ads for a hunting game that shows actual wolves being shot and suffering as they die. I do not want to see this, it's cruel and disturbing and I have been hunting before. Seriously, it's not cool.

Ann Witt

I'm pretty tolerable when it comes to ads, especially the long, unskippable ones. it's annoying, but I'm used to it. but why does this app open another unrelated app, in the middle of a game?? I remember I had this game, and each time I go to play it I'm reminded of why I don't. ads are whatever, but opening a different app is annoying and concerning. going to find a better mahjong app. edit: it's definitely not a mis-tap, because it'd open in the middle of a game, with no ads showing.

Valentino Lamaestra

Generally don't mind the plethora of ads but occasionally the same ad gets "stuck" multiple times in a row. You have to exit the game and restart in order to play one game and then repeat. Game itself is OK to play but if the ads are not able to be fixed so they work properly will have to uninstall. Update 9/15/25... Tried the game again, was even worse with ads than the first time. Lowered rating to two stars. You might also let your advertisers know that if I have to click multiple timeserv

Suzanne Wirth

gave it two stars because I enjoyed the tiles and sounds without the "good" voice. all the removed stars are because of the ads before EVERY game, and most of them opened Google play each time, causing me to leave the game window. the game also started to glitch out on me, and I decided to uninstall and reinstall. I had been logged in while using the game, so didn't think anything of it. when I reinstalled it was down a few levels, didn't have my first place frame anymore and lost progress.

Alison Trafton

LOADED WITH ADS !! Every play has at least one very long ad, if not two. Also they are the same group of ads trying to sell the products over , and over, and over. Its the most time consuming app with ads that I have used to date. It's exhausting! Im looking for a similar game to play, not this one.

Johnnie Greenwalt

This was a fun game for a while. the ads weren't bad, then the higher you got, the more the ads, but at least you got more free shuffles and more free guesses. Then, every time you started to play, it said you had a virus. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it wasn't the same. Naturally, you lose your points and levels. But I tried again and got to level 848, and now it closes the game every time I start to play. So I guess I'll have to find a different game to play

Nicole Sparks

Best mahjong game i have found until the ads play. 60 second ads that you can't close, or you have to go to the play store to even get thru the ads. Also, the special levels with the tiles... the computer always wins. ALWAYS. There is no chance of being able to win one. It really sucks because I love the game. Lessen the ads a bit and you'd have a homerun.

Rhonda Girard

I loved the old version. Now, there are 4 different tiles that match the same. And now 4 additional ones. The challenge is gone. the point was to quickly compare the small details. That made it fun. And the gravelly voice that tells you good job when your matching fast ---- gone. Old version was a strategy game & puzzle game. New version less so

Colleen “Badass that Sparkles” Langdon

This app claims that there's no ads and yet once you get to about the 20th level there's ads almost every level. also very concerning is that a pop-up for McAfee antivirus automatically starts running in a separate window so I'm just deleting it. completely false advertising and potentially dangerous. I will say the game is super fun and easy to do but not worth it.
